So that a notice can be acted on quickly, describe one work per notice where possible, and give exact page addresses rather than a general description of the site.

A copyright notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act must include the following, and a notice missing any of it may be delayed while the missing detail is requested.

First, a physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner, or of a person authorised to act on the owner's behalf.

Second, identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed. If several works on this site are covered by one notice, a representative list of those works is sufficient.

Sixth, a statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or are authorised to act on the owner's behalf.

Notices are reviewed in the order they arrive. Where a notice is complete and the claim appears valid, the material identified is removed or disabled, and the page is updated or taken down as required.

Where a notice is incomplete, unclear, or appears to target material that is not infringing, a reply will be sent asking for the missing information or explaining why the material has not been removed.

No specific turnaround time is promised. This website is run independently, and notices are handled as promptly as is practical.

If material you supplied or authored has been removed from this website in response to a notice and you believe the removal was a mistake or a misidentification, you may send a counter-notification to the same email address with the words DMCA Counter-Notice in the subject line.

A counter-notification should include your physical or electronic signature, identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification, and your name, address, telephone number, and email address.

A copy of a counter-notification may be forwarded to the party that sent the original notice.

Knowingly making a material misrepresentation in a takedown notice or a counter-notification can carry legal consequences for the person who sends it, including liability for damages and costs. Please make sure the claim is genuine before sending it.

It is the policy of this website to remove material that is the subject of a valid notice and, where a contributor repeatedly supplies infringing material, to stop accepting material from that contributor.
